You can see were the previous owner has tried to patch it, and it leaks slowly and eventually slimes the whole bottom of my Camaro. Should I trie to patch it or get a new oil pan for it?I have a 79 Camaro with a 454 and it has a oil pan leak.?
just get a new oil pan and what ever you do, do not use red rtv on the gasket oil will break the rtv down and the peices of it will fall into your oil pan and can clog the pick up screenI have a 79 Camaro with a 454 and it has a oil pan leak.?
get a new oil pan the hole only will get bigger. the oil pan is not that expensive to get
my answer is you should try to get a new oil pan because your oil pan is old
