How do i remove an oil pan from a 1987 toyota pickup?

Take the bolts out??





What are you removing it for, I would have to ask?How do i remove an oil pan from a 1987 toyota pickup?

See Figure 1





1. Turn the engine on and let it idle for ten minutes with the air conditioning switched On.





2. Turn the engine off and disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Disconnect the clutch lead wire at the connector.





4. Discharge the A/C system, see immediately so as to keep moisture out of the system. . Disconnect the two refrigerant lines at the compressor - Cap the open fitting





5. Remove the fan shroud and then remove the air conditioning drive belt.





6. Unscrew the mounting bolts and lift out the compressor.











To install:





7. Install the compressor and tighten the mounting bolts to 22 ft. lbs. (27 Nm).





8. Install the drive belt and adjust the tension as detailed in .





9. Connect the two refrigerant lines to the compressor. Tighten the suction line to 24 ft. lbs. (32 Nm) and the discharge line to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm).





10. Connect the clutch lead wire and the negative battery cable.





11. Evacuate, charge and leak test the system as detailed in .How do i remove an oil pan from a 1987 toyota pickup?
drain the oil, take the bolts out and drop it. if it won,t clear then jack up the engine.
