jack it up, remove the under engine cover and any other parts close to the pan, drain oil, remove filter, unbolt the bolts that screw striaght up into the engine from the bottom all around the edge of the oil pan,How to remove oil pan from '96 gmc jimmy?
Crawl underneath it and remove all the bolts around the base of the oil pan. Once you are under there it should be fairly obvious whice bolts to remove.How to remove oil pan from '96 gmc jimmy?
if it's 4wd,remove front diff first.
if it's 2dw,remove transmission first.
