buy the haynes manual. It will go through a complete tear down of the vehicle, and isn't very expensive. If your changing the oil pan gasket, chances are your someone who doesn't mind working on the car now and then. The book would come in handy again and again. (and you don't need to bring the laptop out to the garage!)


It will also include necessities that are specific to your car's year and engine like the torque specs on the oil pan bolts.
Loosen motor mount bolts/ jack up motor / put something under mounts to hold engine up/ remove oil pan and finish the job.
front wheel drive or rear wheel?
