How do you replace an oil pan gasket on a 1994 Ford F150 with a 501 engine?

I'm assuming you are referring to the 5.0L V8. Like yugie says, raise the engine up, until the pan will clear the transmission. You will need to remove the oil pickup with the pan. You do not need to remove the transmisson or the engine like you would on the diesel equipped trucks. I know, that rubber pan gasket is pretty cheesy isn't? You might as well replace the pan as well. They are known to rust out.How do you replace an oil pan gasket on a 1994 Ford F150 with a 501 engine?
Go to Jiffy Lube and have them do it.How do you replace an oil pan gasket on a 1994 Ford F150 with a 501 engine?
More than likely it is done just like the F150s with 302 engines. You take an engine mount loose or two mounts, and raise up the engine until the pan will clear the front crossmember.
Very carefully!!!!!
