Nissan believes that the Oil Pan was dented on the bottom which is keeping the Oil supply tube from distributing Oil to the motor, I guess the tube sits just a 1/4'; from the bottom of the pan and is easily crimped or stopped up, I am not mechanically inclined to fix it but does anyone know how much the cost and labor would be to fix it?Are oil pans easily fixable for a nissan 300zx?
depends on where the dent actualy is.If its right where the pick up is then you may have bent the pick up.If its not near the pick up then i wouldnt be to worried and if you are just buy a new gasket and get a sump from the wreckers.
