You have to lower the engine cradle (front sub frame) for The oil pan to clear. Their are some specialized tools for supporting the engine because it will come down with the cradle when you try to lower so it isn't really a job I would recommend for the backyard mechanic.How can you remove a 2000 Formula LS1 oil pan?
Take the bolts out
