Is there any way to temporarily fix a large hole in an oil pan with ordinary household items?

I just need to get this vehicle that is 4 blocks away back to the house. Is there any way to temporarily fix a large hole in an oil pan with ordinary household items?
You might try duct taping a pie pan over the hole, using lots of duct tape and trying to get the pie plate as close to the hole as possible. That MAY work for four blocks. Just hope the pan exploded rather than imploded or was punctured as you may have crankshaft interference problems besides. Make sure you have enough oil to run the engine for a couple of minutes or you'll fry the bearings and you can kiss the engine goodbye!! Good luckIs there any way to temporarily fix a large hole in an oil pan with ordinary household items?
it all depends on how big it really is,there's not much you can do that will stick to it really good, oil gets on anything, and it wont stick to it,it will also depend on which way the hole is.punched in or out, good luck with it,kiffin has a good idea if it works.
tin can.. cut to fit over hole.. 5 minuit epoxy resin ..glue it on..

clean all the oil off %26amp; rough up the edges with some emery paper before gluing..
A few layers of duct tape on a super clean oil pan surface.
that would not be good cause there could be some thing in that item that could hurt your engine instead of temporarily fixing it u would have to buy a new engine so no you should not fix that hole with house hold items
