My oil pan is cracked and I've reached the point where I have loosened the tranny and removed parts for access, but I'm still unable to remove the pan. Am I missing some critical stepsDoes anyone have information on how to remove a 1995 olds aurora oil pan?
too big of project on the ground!!!!!!!!! ex GMtech here. the whole front cradle has to be dropped(engine,trans,frame,drive axles,etc!!! then after trans is removed from engine,and exhaust pipe...THEN lower section of pan an be removed.....upper part of pan supports crankshaft.leave that alone. customer pay rate or labor is over 15 hours........be warned.....................good luck
