NO! If you are out of veggie oil try using butter or a non stick spray, also If you put a little bit of flour throughoout the stirfry it will have the non stick affect.

No. You can't eat petroleum jelly. You could use butter, margarine, or even a bit of lard or shortening, but not petroleum jelly.
Petroleum jelly is made of petroleum- you know the same stuff as gasoline and plastics?
