How do I remove the oil pan from an 96 nissan 240sx?

I'm trying to replace the oil pan gasket and I'm not sure if I need to support the engine from falling onto my chest when I take off the engine mounts and the center cross member. Help!How do I remove the oil pan from an 96 nissan 240sx?
If you remove the motor mounts %26amp; cross bar there will be nothing to hold the engine except the fan on the fan shroud. Block up under the crank %26amp; at the rear of the engine
