Economical and dependable way to replace a engine that threw a rod into the oil pan on a 1996 Toyota Camry?

The car is in perfect shape besides the blown engine... this car belonged to my mother-in-law and she says I can have it if I want to fix it. it depends on what you are capable of doing yourself. if you are mechanically inclined then it will be alot cheaper than taking it to a repair shop. If you take it to a shop make sure you can trust them and also try to buy all your own parts. Motor, motor oil, oil filter, coolant, belts, hoses... this will save you a small fortune just on the mark up that alot of auto repair places have.Economical and dependable way to replace a engine that threw a rod into the oil pan on a 1996 Toyota Camry?
