i really dont know what an oil pan really is but i am puttin in a new transmission and it said that its for a mazda 626 but that to check if my current transmission has 2 oil pans. i have a 1996 Mazda 626 4 Cylinders C 2.0L MFI DOHC, can anyone help?Does my car's transmission have 2 oil pans?
You have only one oil pan with drain plug for the engine and another one without drain for the transmission.Does my car's transmission have 2 oil pans?
Most FWD vehicles have Transmissions with two pans.
One at the bottom of the trans. and one on the side facing the driver side tire.
Make sure the new one matches the old one?
