How do you replace a new oil pan?

on a 1991 honda civic hatchback. 1.5 liter engine.

I heard you have to lift the engine i sure hope not...

anybody have any tips??How do you replace a new oil pan?
Hi, You'll notice the exhaust headpipe/flexpipe runs under the oil pan. Spray it with a good penetrating oil (PB Blaster) svereral times with hours in between. ';It'; being the nuts holding the headpipe to the exhaust manifold and the same holding the headpipe to the catalytic converter. They're rusty and tight..use a 1/2 in. breaker bar and you might need a cheater (pipe), Good luck..GeoHow do you replace a new oil pan?
If you feel like a dirty bit o' cheatin' you are probably replacing the oil pan because the drain plug threads are stripped. Hondas must have some soft metal there, because I always torque the bolt with a torque wrench and still my daughter's '93 Accord threads stripped around the 200K mile mark. Many auto parts chains sell oversize bolts for Hondas; NAPA sells single and double oversize bolts (which is a clue as to how bad the problem is). The standard crush washers no longer fit the bolt but the bolt works fine.
you might not have to lift the engine it just depend how small the engine is if it a normal size u can u blot the oil pan from the engine block but be careful because they is a seal and if u rip the seal if have to get a new seal

but i say that your honda has a 1.5 in it that a small car engine so u might have to lift the engine
Your question leaves me confused ? why would you replace a new oil pan ? HUMMMMM
