How do i fix a leaky oil pan?

i scraped the bottom of my car, i believe the oil pan, and it is leaking, not steadily , but adequetly, how do i repair it????? it is a 1992 cadillac sedan deville! How do i fix a leaky oil pan?
You probably dented or cracked the pan itself. One way would be remove and repair that particular pan. Another way would be ro replace the pan with a new or used pan.

Have you identified exactly where the leak is coming form? It could also just be a bad gasket that ended its life when the pan was 'scraped'. Good luckHow do i fix a leaky oil pan?
Like the others said, you will probably have to replace it, but first things first: find the leak. You may be able to get away with just replacing the gasket. Most cars leak a little oil, just add more if it is only a small amount, and you dont mind the oil spots where you park. Keep an eye on the oil levels and remember its better to leak it than to burn it.
OK, the first thing you need to do is take off the oil pan and make sure it is not bent at any point. If it is then you need to buy a new oil pan. If not, then it is your oil pan gasket. If you have checked both then at the last resort I would go to the dealer and ask them.
Take it off and braze it.
clean it real good and sand it down to the bare metal and use some jb weld.that will fix it.i used some on a tranny once and it didnt leak.i had that car for 11 years.
If you damaged the oil pan you will have to remove it and have it brazed or get another one from the junk yard
you can either by a new oil pan or get some JB WELD at your local welding shops. 1 scotch both tires.2 jack it up.3 get under it take your oil pan off .4get a cloth and rub it clean find out were its leaking .5 get the JB WELD mix them together real good get small flat object and spread it over the whole let it dry for about 3 hrs or put it in front of a fan for about 2hrs.
better to replace it
I would go the jb weld route but a little diferent. You can get jb weld at auto supplies and hardware store, good stuff for a lot of repairs. I would jack up the front or drive up on some car ramps, drain the oil and leave the drain plug out till the leak stops. It must be a clean surface, no oil, to apply the patch. It may take several hours to drain. when it is dry use some emery cloth or sand paper to clean and rough up the area. Be absolutely sure the oil is not seeping or the patch won't stick. Follow mixing directionsand apply patch. Have a little patience and you will save the big job of removing and bigger job replacing the oil pan. Block your car up, don't go under with only a jack holding it. Ramps are the best.
If the pan is not too badly dented and only a small hole , any competent muffler shop could figure out how to weld it closed. It should not be very difficult or expensive. Don't let anyone convince you that it will blow up, this is not a closed vessel.
